I guess the only safe place and where it's meant to be for our hearts, is in His hands... Bible says Guard your heart, and the heart is deceitful...Let's give our hearts to him to heal and look after and to love.
As I listen once again

A bit of background. Shortly after that, I think it was, I had a sleep over by one of the great strong ladies in my life Colleen, just before she moved and while we were chatting and praying, she said she had a vision of God trying to hug me and he had His arms around me, but I would not allow him to close them around me. So allow Him close, but not all the way... this was in 2005 and pretty true. from 1999 to 2005, I had grown in the Lord, in the spirit and in His word, but receiving his love into the deepest part of me, and trusting him or myself, was something I couldn't do at that point and many a tear was shed, as a result this poem...

2006, July, Hillsong Conference, Sydney...
"Just love on Him church", It wasn't the endless worship, the Rick Warrens, Reinhard Bonke's, etc, etc 's messages that finally caused a crack in the wall around my heart (though the word I got was awesome), it was simply this phrase said mostly while the Worship Leaders were going on to the next song... After all the worrying of how I'm going to get better health wise, how I'm going to change my life, get breakthrough, God said to me simply Just Love on Me. Thats' all. And as you love me, and allow me in, i will change you... Even obedience flows out of first loving him. So yep, God was faithful to draw near me and bring me to even that point of reaching out to me and holding me, being ever patient, revealing more of himself and flooding me with His love once I allowed his hands around me....

Seeking...
Matth 6: 33 - But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well
* I'm seeking my purpose, seeking what I'm supposed to be doing with my life, who am i going to marry, when am I going to marry, why am I where I am, when am I going to get stronger in certain areas, why am I working in IT, why do I struggle to take my medication everyday, seeking, seeking, seeking....
But God says...
Seek Him first, Above seeking the other stuff, Stop seeking those answers. Seek God. His Kingdom, get busy with His things, read his word to find out what that is and means, advance his kingdom, and His Righteousness...Aah, live to please him, seek to please him, seek to be right before him, seek more of Jesus so that you can be the Righteousness of God, seek more time with him, so that His fruits can rub off, his presence, his wisdom can change you...
Seek this first... Stop asking the other questions, Answer these first!
And then when you do all the other questions/answers will be added unto you.
Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Psalm 27:4 One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
and lastly my favourite
Jeremiah 29:11 -14 - For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD,
Seek Him...You will find Him when you seek him with all your heart, How can you seek him when you're running after other things...Find God and you'll find all you need and more than you could ever think of or imagine... He loves you so, Seek Him...
Waiting...
It gets even better... Waiting... Why should we wait on God... What does it mean to wait, I stopped seeking other things and seeking God, but still it seems like things aren't changing, what do I do while I don't know what the future holds... I wait. Why do I wait? What do I wait for? I suppose some of you thought waiting means waiting for God to do something that will change the situation, praising and praying but waiting for God to act, or waiting for God to give you the strength to get through but in the meantime just hanging, just waiting... At least that's what I thought but here's the secret and the one of the best things to know...
Isaiah 40:31 - But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
The secret's in the waiting, Our strength is in the waiting...
Psalm 27: 13 -14 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.
Psalm 131 My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. O Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.
In Conclusion...
Psalm 27: 8 My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, LORD, I will seek.
Let us seek God, Lets Seek his face, Lets be in His word. When we have challenges we have a choice are we going to stare at our problems, overanylize it, get scared, get sulky or are we going to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord, are we going to Seek his face are we going to FIRST seek His kingdom and His righteousness, are we going to seek HIM and find Him because He will be found by us when we seek him with all our heart... That is the choice we have, and as we choose to seek Him first, let us wait on the Lord, Let us quieten our soul, let us become dependant on Him for everything even our peace... Let's not be anxious in anything (Phillipians 4) but lets wait on the Lord, and as we do that we are being renewed, we are strengthened. We don't need to wait for it to happen, it happens as we wait!
So Happy Seeking and Waiting, and May He keep revealing Himself to you and drawing you close to His heart as you seek and wait upon the Lord...
Trusting God and Love...
From the Message Bible:
So here are the scriptures God's been speaking to me about:
2 Corinthians 1:
8We don't want you in the dark, friends, about how hard it was when all this came down on us in Asia province. It was so bad we didn't think we were going to make it. 9We felt like we'd been sent to death row, that it was all over for us. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally--not a bad idea since he's the God who raises the dead! 10And he did it, rescued us from certain doom. And he'll do it again, rescuing us as many times as we need rescuing.
12b:
But it wasn't by any fancy footwork on our part. It was God who kept us focused on him, uncompromised.
And Galations 3: 2 - 6
2Let me put this question to you: How did your new life begin? Was it
by working your heads off to please God? Or was it by responding to
God's Message to you? 3Are you going to continue this craziness? For
only crazy people would think they could complete by their own efforts
what was begun by God. If you weren't smart enough or strong enough to
begin it, how do you suppose you could perfect it? 4Did you go through
this whole painful learning process for nothing? It is not yet a total
loss, but it certainly will be if you keep this up!
5Answer this question: Does the God who lavishly provides you with
his own presence, his Holy Spirit, working things in your lives you
could never do for yourselves, does he do these things because of your
strenuous moral striving or because you trust him to do them in you?
6Don't these things happen among you just as they happened with Abraham?
He believed God, and that act of belief was turned into a life that was
right with God.
So No. 1, God wants me to live trusting him, trusting him to bring about victory, trusting him to change my life. It was him who began this work in me, it's him who keeps me focused on Him, awesome hey, all I need to do it turn to him. FOR EVERYTHING, every decision, every happening, even the great things, to include him in everything!!! Not try and figure out things and how it's going to turn out...but Just knowing that I have an awesome father who LAVISHLY provides me with His own presence, his Holy Spirit...
Then God was speaking to me about LOVE:
Ephesians 1:
1Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. 2Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.
Phillipians 1: 9 -11
So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush . Live a lover's life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God
Phillipians scripture was especially hectic, cause I know I can love much, " OOOOH I love you so much (too my friends and fam), I love God so much, etc, etc." but am I loving WELL, am I serving, am I really caring about them and seeing where I can build them up, am I taking time out of my life to make their life better!
So Ja that's about it...
Depending on God in EVERYthing and loving well not much! and not self centred!
Psalm 121 - Be Encouraged!
Thought I'd encourage you all with the scripture that encouraged me in my lunch break.
I've changed some words to Caps, so you won't miss what the Word of God is trying to say to you, and if you are His child, then you can stand on these promises!
Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He WILL NOT let your foot slip—
he who WATCHES OVER YOU will not slumber;
(he's watching over you right now ... whatever things you are facing right now, know that the Maker of heaven and earth is watching and He will not slumber nor sleep)
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
(Take a look at your hand...God is over you like shade, Whatever situation you are facing. Questions you have, things you need to make decisions on, etc... He is right there with you, Your Shade, and HE WILL NOT LET YOUR FOOT SLIP! Cause he never takes his eyes off you...)
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
(During the day, at work, at school, at home, at night, in your darkest hour, wherever, whenever, he will not allow you to be harmed)
7 The LORD will keep you from ALL harm—
he will watch over your life;
( He WILL keep you from ALL harm, He WILL watch over your life - God is so cool, He doesn't just watch us, he watches over us. He doesn't just watch over us, he KEEPS us from ALL Harm)
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
(wherever you go, wherever you are, both NOW in your current situation, but not just now but FOREVER More, Praise God.)
Prayer:
Thank You Lord, for this promise. And thank you that you are a faithful God, and therefore when you say things, you mean it and you are faithful to do what you say... You require us put our faith in you as you show your faithfullness to us. And so today we say Yes, Lord, We believe and accept your word, we say that as your children we will look to you for help Lord, We begin to do that right now Lord, we look to you for help in any situation we find ourselves in Lord, and not just for big, bad things, but even in our daily choices... And as we look to You God, we thank you that you don't just look back to us, but you watch over us. You will not know what it means to us to know that you will not let our foot slip God. Lord you obviously wrote that because you care about us... Thank You Lord.
Lord I pray that you will encourage each of our spirits to reach out to you for that help, instead of giving into fear and drawing away. I pray that those who have not accepted you yet as Lord of their lives will. I pray that those who have will allow you more access in their lives. Not box you in or accept you in their own terms... Lord I pray that you will open our eyes to what you are doing in our lives and give us new dreams and vision, I pray that you will stir up a longing for more in every area of our lives but also that you will help us become faithful as we step out and do what you say...

A Bubble Parable
We find ourselves in this bubble, totally oblivious to the lives of others around us, bouncing along, not sure where we are going and what we're going to do when we get there. Along the way there are road signs, and flashing lights, and pointing index fingers, "Go this way", "Go That". I'm beginning to think my bubble will burst.
It's kinda hard to see clearly when the rays of different colours, beam off the edge of the bubble, temporary blinding us and making it very difficult to depend on your own intuition to make it through.
As I look into the others bubbles, I see a variety of reactions and expressions. Some lay calmly, almost asleep as their bubbles bounce over rocks, make last minute detours around rivers and just about miss huge, frightening trucks. Others, scream, throw fits and weep over the tiniest little stone.I see others with a determined expression, ready for anything, yet those very same people crash and bump, yet it doesn't seem to phase them. They're quite content having bruises all over!!? And then there are the inbetweeners, sort of similar to me... that see the rock ahead, am about to get scared, but then begin to trust and the bubble gently avoids the rock. Amazed I will rejoice, and wonder why I didn't trust in the first place, only to see the next rock and freak out.
Enough about bubbles, Where do you find yourself in life? Which bubble do u find yourself in? You see there's a part of this story that I've left out. The part that determines, where you're going, and exactly how the road is to there. You, See there was more than just people in bubbles in this story, and though it seemed that everything was left to chance, or coincidence, Someone greater than all those people and all those bubbles and all the rocks along the way was there and was in control of it all. The people who took matters in their own hands found the challenges were to great for the them. The people who rested in the knowledge that their lives are not their own sailed smoothly through most challenges. They weren't without trials, but the trials didn't master them. Still others, lived in Fear and the smallest test became a gigantic problem, while some who were still overcoming their fear as they saw the moment they trusted, they made through whatever they were going through.
The bottom line is when you find yourself in a bubble:
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
